The below councils offer a rebate for the purchase and/or hire of cloth nappies, click the link for YOUR council to learn more.
NSW
Applicants may be rebated for half the cost of reusable nappies and menstrual products purchased between 1 July 2021 and 1 January 2022, up to the value of $100 per user.
The cloth nappy rebate will cover 50% of the purchase price up to a maximum rebate value of $200 for cloth nappy purchases made after 1 July 2021. There will be a maximum of 1 rebate per household.

- cloth nappies
- swim nappies
- reusable inner liner for nappies
- reusable nursing breast pads
WA
Is offering a rebate of 50%, up to $150 per household on the hire or purchase of modern cloth nappies.
All residents are entitled to the rebate and are able to apply for a 50% rebate of up to $100 for either the hire or the purchase of modern cloth nappies.
The Shire will subsidise the cost of up to $100* towards the cost of cloth nappies for families who would like to give real nappies a go!
QLD
Sustainable Nappy Cashback program. Residents can enter a monthly draw to win back your reusable cloth nappy investment valued up to $300
VIC
Eligible residents can claim a rebate that will cover 50% of the purchase price up to a maximum rebate value of $150.
Includes below products:
- cloth nappies
- swim nappies
- reusable inner liner for nappies
- reusable nursing breast pads
- wet bags
Offers one-off rebate per household for reusable cloth nappy use up to $150 in value. This includes cloth and swim nappies, reusable liners, reusable wipes, wet bags and reusable breast pads.
Eligible Wyndham residents can apply for a 50% of the purchase price (max $100) rebate on cloth nappies.
Shire residents can apply for rebate on the eligible products, including cloth nappies. The rebate offers 50% of purchase price or maximum $100 rebate.
